Once your pre-testing is complete, you’ll be lead to one of our comfortable exam rooms where your appointment will begin. The doctor will examine you with lights of many kinds as well as possibly dilating your eyes. Dilation drops are safe and well-tolerated by all groups. It is typical for your eyes to remain dilated for anywhere from 2-4 hrs afterward. Dilation is optional but recommended to evaluate eye health completely.
